Out of all of your awesome pages I've had the pleasure of seeing, I will officially call this one your 'mic drop moment'!! 54 photos!!! I'm dying over here!!
This is FANTASTIC, Lisa. Wow. Well, first of all, I love that you have all those photos still of your college years. These pics look terrific all mixed together with the simple frame and flourish. I like that you hid some journaling too. This is a wonderful work of art.
Lisa this is great, I love your idea and the collage is so much fun. Beautiful LO, the simplicity really adds to the appeal. I'm glad you were able to get things written out, even if you may never look at them again.
so glad you were able to do this and get some of your thoughts out too. I think the flourish is the perfect touch. It didn't know you were a cheerleader. Now I see where your daughter got her dance talent from
this is wonderful, you will be glad you did this. Years from now you will know that journaling is there and you will take it out and read it....I lvoe that you kept it simple!
wow is right!!! what an amazing collection of photos and memories- i know i dont have this many photos; maybe a handful!! this design w-the added frame and swirl is just perfect. wonderful LO/memories to have preserved and scrapped :)
wow thats alot of photos. I dont think this lo needed anything else. Im glad you were able to get some stuff out on your journaling and still keep it personal. great idea.
Love the mixed fonts and very glad you were able to get some things down on paper to cleanse your soul. That is one thing scrapping is really good for! ((hugs))
My 20 year reunion for college was this year, so I wanted to do a LO of some of my favorite photos from that time. I made collages in Picasa so there are 54 photos on this LO. I kept the rest of the LO very simple because it was already busy with all the pics and because I really want to only focus on the pictures anyway. The individual collages are in my gallery.
The collages are printed on bright white cardstock and mounted with foam tape. I used strips of scrap navy cs to make a frame. The letters are vinyl thickers in two fonts, and the chipboard flourish was red BoBunny that I painted black.
I did some extremely personal journaling for this page that I slid in behind the right collage. There's nothing to indicate that it's there, and I don't expect that it will ever be found. It was just cathartic for me to write.
