This is beautiful, Sharon! Such pretty soft and subtle colours and really beautiful papers. I love the way you've cut out those swirls and the butterflies are gorgeous. And that photo is certainly a family treasure, a picture of those hard times. Great lo!

Thanks to Anderjackie for the wonderful layout that I pretty much lifted verbatim for this layout about my paternal grandmother and two aunts. I changed a few minor details, but mostly it's all hers. Thanks to her for the inspiration!

My father's people lived through the very worst of the Depression, and I'm sure these dresses were the very best they had. My grandmother is in the middle, with her daugher to the right, and her daugher-in-law to the left.
