While Back-to-School shopping for the past couple of weeks, I noticed a fashion trend with zippers....zippers everywhere used as decorative items on clothing, jewellery and even shoes! So I decided to try something "different" (as many of you know I do from time to time) and incorporate some zippers into a lo about my 13-year-old daughter who has been complaining that I don't make any lo's about HER!!! LOL! When I found this wonderful CI Marah Johnson collection of pps and embellies, I knew it was time to design a page for her. If you're wondering about those zipper flowers, I can't say "check out my flower tutorial on my blog" hee hee because I don't have one! Confession: those flowers were originally a cheap necklace a found at Claire's, which I cut apart. Just don't ask me how I'll fit this page into an album! ha ha! The "Beautiful" is stamped with Versamark and glittered and the winged heart is Tim H. I smooched the wings, then used Rock Candy Distress Paint. The heart is inked with Fired Brick, then stickled with Distress Rock Candy. Lovin' the Rock Candy lately...very cool effect. BTW, this design was inspired by Jeni Boisvert's lo in CK Tips & Tricks. These photos are from my parents' 50th Anniversary party. Thanks for looking....I really appreciate your comments!!
