Awesome page! I love the pp, and the photo is just beautiful. Great journaling, too. My one comment would be that the dark journaling mats draw attention away from the photo too much - I think using a less contrasting medium/dark green paper instead of the dark brown might work better.
I used the copper ink pad to lightly ink the edges of the cardstock.

Journaling: I have known Laura Greenlund since we were middle-schoolers, and we have shared so much over the years - countless stories. And between the two of us there is a lot of talent. Laura made both sets of garb, and we went to Picture People in late autumn of 2003 to have some great photos taken. It was fun getting all dressed up and wandering the mall in Orange County our Renaissance clothing. While Laura had made herself into an English wench, I had found a pattern for her to use to stitch me up some Scottish attire. At that point in time, I was head-over-heels for anything from Scotland, and what better way to show my love than with my sleeves? That year, we time-traveling wenches cemented our enjoyment of the Renaissance faire. I treasure our friendship, and all the times spent together.
