One of four cards that were originally posted in my Mix It Up monthly hybrid post over at Scrapbook Graphics. http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com/2010/06/mit-it-up-cards/
Each card in the orignal post showcased a quick way to embellish a hybrid card, For all of the cards, I did the layout in Photoshop, printed the graphics on white cardstock and then added the additional embellishments.
On this card I used dimensional paint to add texture. There are a number of different types of dimensional paint available. I like the pearlescent kind that comes in little squeeze bottles and have very small tips that dispense the paint. The small tip gives you a lot of control when applying the paint. I added a little dot of white pearlescent paint at every intersection point of the graphic on the background paper and a green row of dots above the sentiment. This is a really simple way to add interest to a card without doing a lot of fancy cutting and layering.
