One of four cards that were originally posted in my Mix It Up monthly hybrid post over at Scrapbook Graphics. http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com/2010/06/mit-it-up-cards/

Each card in the orignal post showcased a quick way to embellish a hybrid card, For all of the cards, I did the layout in Photoshop, printed the graphics on white cardstock and then added the additional embellishments.

On this card, I used a paper curling technique on the butterfly. You print the butterfly separately from the card background, trim it out and then curl each of the wings by rolling them with your fingers. When you attach the butterfly to the card, you only add adhesive to the body part, allowing the wings to float above the card.

For additional images and information, see my blog at: http://plkomara.blogspot.com/2010/06/some-quick-hybrid-card-techniques.html

Thanks for looking - Patty
