o my gosh! my brother and i did a similar stuffed animal themed picture collection as well. it was with his penguin, pingu! i think we ended up taking more pictures of pingu than people. as a result (consequence) i owe him a "pingu's adventures in taiwan" scrapbook! (which i have yet to start....)
This is my 2nd ever totally complete journaling and everything page :) When I went to Japan last summer, I took along a little stuffed beanbag turtle to remind me of my boyfriend (my nickname for him is Turtle, and he and I each have a small turtle collection, include matching ones of this beanbag turtle). It was nice to bring this once because it's so small it's easy to pack and carry around. While I was in Japan, I made sure to take pictures of my turtle at the different locations we went to - I'd like to start a tradition and collection of pictures of the turtle all over the place :) I used black background paper to go with my other Japan page, and then experimented a little bit by choosing bright greens - turns out they match the turtle exactly and look really cool with the black! I was excited to be able to use the luggage shaker that snin_mom made for me (everyone oohed and aahed over it! thank you so much!).
I used a light/bright green Scrapworks circle concho around the turtle at the steps of the Great Buddha in the lower right corner of the page - the turtle was so small I wanted some way to highlight where he was in the picture! thanks for looking!
