I love the way each side of this two page layout echoes the other, from the papers to the oval frames that you used. What a priceless piece of family history you've preserved for generations to come!!
The journaling reads: "The papers, dated 5th May 1864 are a copy of the Indenture of Apprenticeship of my great-grandfather, Samuel Gannaway, to a Tewkesbury builder, as an Apprentice Joiner, and a copy of the receipt for £12. 10s. 0d., the balance of the premium that John, Samuel's father, paid to the builder."
