This layout was so much fun to do! These ki memories papers are so great for summer. I was dealing with so many patterns I decided to keep the embellisments minimal...but I guess that is sort of my style anyhow.

Journaling reads...

This year the hightlight of the summer was bug hunting. You kids spent every moment outside searching for bugs. It didn't seem to matter what you were playing, somehow it involved looking for bugs at the same time. You even tried to blow bubbles and catch them inside! While at times you would ride your bikes trying to squish bugs, other games seemed to be a crusade to save them. Though I am not sure what made you choose to squish some and save others, I know you both felt passionate about your quests. Butterfly nets, bug cages, magnifying glasses, and bug tweezers (these cruel instruments actually came in the bug cage kit!) became you favorite everyday summer toys. These pictures are some of my favorites of the summer. The lighting was perfect and you were both so intent on finding the little creatures that you didn't even notice me snapping away with the camera.
