This is my September entry for Book of Me and The Darker Side.

It's basically about how I wanted to become a medical examiner when I was a teenager and how it lead to my love of the Kay Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell.

I first made the "Y incision" on the flesh toned paper and then I distressed it with the edge of my razor and some red and black and brown inks.

I then layered it on a red sheet of paper that I had distressed so it would not just be plain red behind the incision.

I then hand made the Medical Examiner toe-tag.

I did my best to make the tattoo, it didn't turn out how I wanted it exactly, but I think it gets the point across.

I bought a crime scene lanyard off Ebay and used it as the crime scene tape.

I printed up the finger print card but changed the title of it to fit with my VERY long title.

I then printed up the covers of my 10 favorite novels of this series.

I finished it off by flicking red paint over the entire layout.
