My mom always tells me that it should show that itīs handmade and I agree. I love that you tried to sew on the LO, I think it turned out great. Love the natural colours.
The stitching looks fab! I've been begging my husband for one and he finally agreed, but know I have to figure out which one I want. I have no clue and so don't know anything about them, lol! Awesome masculin lo!! :)
Fabulous male lo...your stitching looks amazing and adds to the manly feel of the lo! Love the little embellies and your choice of pp's go perfectly with the fantasic photo of your dh
Very masculine Lo Donna ! I love it Really like the touch of burlap behind the photo. great colour choices,,,even your "flowered" branch is still manly colours! I really like the title on the bottom...the use of the dynamo tape was cool!
HMMM, sounds just like my hubby! I struggle to find anything that goes with camo gear, but you've done a wonderful job! It really has that outdoorsy feel to it!

Move over Marlsboro Man...heeeeeere's Jerry!! A perfect manly man page, Donna! Love all the embellies you created! THe DA branch you altered looks amazing especially with the cardboard flowers! (I think cardboard flowers are manly, don't you??!?) Your title work is sooo creative and looks fantastic! The burlap adds wonderful texture too!
What a great lo ! I love the flowers on the branch and the fish. The sewing looks just right for the page. I'm still too chicken to try machine stitching on a lo :)
Did this lo of my DH Jerry to show the different aspects of his life. Used a Pencil lines sketch. Wanted to keep it very simple. I'm embarrassed to say, but I bought a Janome craft sewing machine quite awhile ago & finally used it! This is the first time I sewed on a layout & did a zig zag (more zag than zig I'm afraid!) stitch around the borders. Need practice! Background pp is actually olive with smatterings of brown ink. Branch is dusty attic (just had to get some flowers on this! LOL!). The flowers I punched from corrugated cardboard & lightly inked and stickled. TFL!
