This is my 2009 Christmas card to my siblings. I wanted to relive the memory of our first experience with snow in Houston. Inside is a poem that I wrote:
The first snowflakes we ever did see
was way back in 1973.
Mom let us miss school
so that we would know
what it felt like to
play in the snow.
We built a snowman,
had snowball fights,
boy were we tired
when we went to bed that night.
Since then we have not seen
the snow like we saw in 1973!
