Great paper piecing, and nice job on the stitching! I enjoyed the heart-felt journaling, and the title work is awesome - I love what you did with the monograms. Good luck!
Another awesome page. I love the angle of the photo that emphasizes the "tall" theme, as well as the rulers and tall letters in the title. Great colors, pps, accents. Love it!
So cute....Love the ruler on the side that goes perfectly with the "tall" theme. Know all about little boys being tall....my bil was always big for his age...I met him when he was 4 and he looked like he was 7. He is now 19 and 6'7" tall....

Journaling: Kyle has always been TALL - he was born long and slim. At age 5 he was 42”, and sometimes I felt like I needed to carry his birth certificate along so he could still get in free to events. In kindergarten he towered almost a head above most of his classmates. He is catching up to his cousin, and hand-me-downs may become a thing of the past. It won’t be long before he is up to my chin, and we know he will someday surpass his six foot father in height. For one who doesn’t like to stand out in a crowd, being tall can be difficult, but I also think he enjoys being mistaken for ten. At age eight, I do know that I love all 54 1/2” of my tall boy, and nothing is ever going to change that!
Ideas to Share: created my own tape measure running the twill through the printer, being sure that the measurement went to 54.5”.
