You have done a wonderful job here...not only is the lo lovely (great pocket with the doily) but I am impressed with all the info you have about them...super.
I added a second page with the story of John Taylor and his wife Mary. I also made a pocket out of a doily to reduce the deeds for their property and slide them into it. I used the remainder of the September uglies on the second page! The story reads: John Taylor was born to Cread and Sallie on October 11, 1847 in White County, Tennessee. He did March 12, 1919 in Okmulgee, Ok. MAry England was born August 30, 1849 in Cumberland County, Tn. She died August 6, 1929 at Wapanuck, OK. Her parents were Wesley England and Ann Eliza Little.
John and MAry lived and farmed in White County until the late 1880s. In addittion to 125 acres John purchased from his father's estate, they bought and sold another 500 acres in the area. Between 1880 and 1900 they moved around alot including Texas, Tennessee, and Washington before settling in Olney, Oklahoma. They had a large Orchard of apples, peaches, and pears just west of Boggy bridge.
