Okay, I started with a piece of brown card stock, but you can't see that, I only use that to add weight to my pages so that they don't flop around on me while I work on them. Then I put on top of it the pink patterned paper you see here. I put pink satin ribbon along the side down with Tacky Tape. It looks messy in the photo, but in reality, it doesn't...I think. So I took this green textured paper and cut two strips of it off of the 12x12 sheet, (the sheet, by the way, cost $1.29, which I think is a bit much for a piece of textured paper) and cut three inches off each side, and rounded the corners, putting it down with the Tacky Tape since I was out of Vario tabs at the moment. I then measured the area that I wanted the patterned mat for the photo to go, and I took a light rose-colored piece of card stock and a brown ink pad and my Making Memories art deco stamps and went crazy with them all over it. Just stamp stamp stamp stamp stamp. And then I cut it and put the other piece on the other side of the ribbon, because I had already put the ribbon down. I took three different sheets of paper and die-cutted circles out, attaching them with glue dots. and attaching those posies that you can buy after I cut the stems off to the page as well with the glue dots. I then printed out my photo on white textured card stock (this page is all about texture, by the way) and put it down with Tacky Tape along the corners, and then put Basic Grey "Holy Cow" Rub-ons on the corners. Then, for the title. I put the page on Styrofoam and with a little awl (it's actually for punching holes in metal, but I use it for this too) and measured out the distances, and punched the holes along the ribbon for the My Type brads that say "dream." And, finally, I used a scrap of that card stock I went stamp crazy with to put the rub-on of "my puppy" on it, rounded the corners, inked it, and put it under the green textured paper, and voila! Geez, that one was hard work...
