Since having my daughter, I have noticed my relationship with my father has changed. He calls me to talk a lot more often and I find myself sharing the everyday happenings of his granddaughter. Not only does Annabella look just like me, my father has repeated on so many occasions that “the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.” According to him, a lot of the things she does are similar to things I did when I was younger. Annabella looks just like me in her facial features, hair color and skin tone. And, I guess her personality is a copy of mine. Some of things we clash over are because we are so much a like and I have got to start remembering that “the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.”
