Pics of Lexie and Abigail NOT fighting! LOL When we first got Abby, she wouldn't leave Lexie alone for a second -- running around and around her, jumping in her face, and body slamming her. Lexie would make this annoying noise and try to pin Abby with her mouth, but she never tried to hurt her. It was hilarious for awhile, and then was just irritating because it NEVER stopped. Well here, I had given them each a chew bone so there was a brief truce.

Journaling: 'a period of lessening tension between two parties, in this case, brought about by a couple of dentabones. Detente presupposes that the two parties will continue to disagree but seeks to reduce the occasions of conflict.' This is the closest Lexie & Abigail have been without play-fighting since we got Abby. April 26, 2007

I used the sketch for Week 2 of the September Monthly Sketch challenge, and I did the twist to use only black & white + one other color (pink). Also, for the VLB Challenge to use a title starting with one of the letters in VERY LAID BCK.

It's hard to see here, but I stamped a script pattern on the vellum circle with watermark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, then distressed the circle. All the stacked flowers are sprayed with Pearl GM. I cut the chandelier on my Cricut.
