Section 5 of my Alaska board book. My best friend and I went on a little road trip to Seward, Alaska to go on a whale watching cruise. We had time to kill and found this beautiful, quite beach on Resurrection Bay. Along the bottom are some rocks from the beach. The "sand" on the beach are millions of little almost paper-thin, black pebbles. It was amazing. I've never seen anything like it before. TFL!
