Journaling: When Marc and Karen went to Las Vegas for Chris’ wedding, the munchkins stayed with us. We planned some activities we thought they would enjoy, one of which was horseback riding. Katie has always been a horse lover and has been riding a number of times. This time she and Don went; Sam decided he’d rather play his DS. Katie has always maintained she wants a job working with animals. She informed me she had to keep her fingernails short and unpolished because she “was going to be messing around with horses.” She’s a little girl who has definite ideas for the future. 08.07.10
