Thank you for sharing with us. I have made three recipe books so far, actually four counting the one I made in class. I gave one to my oldest daughter and one to my future daughter-in -law. they love them. The first one I made a birthday calendar (started the year on her birthday June 1st and ending on May 31st of the following year)
Then I made a recipe page corresponding with each month. So it was 24 pages plus the covers. Great fun. The second was just recipies (lol) by catagory but still very much appreciated and I had a lot of fun doing it. Taking a break and working on Take out Menu books.

A close up of the spine label and the inking. Pretty grungy when you get up close which is good because I want the book to have the vintage look and feel (like it's been used for years). Because the chipboard frame sticks out slightly over the edges I made sure it had several coats of Mod Podge for extra protection.
