I trimmed the page protectors for the recipe cards down so they would fit better. I left enough space above the top hole so it wasn't compromised and still sturdy.
Cutting the page protectors down also makes the album more interesting because the tops of the layouts are visible and invite the viewer to look further into the photos they see.
The Melissa Frances Retro recipe cards coordinate with the Restoration collection AMAZINGLY well and they keep the fun vintage mood flowing through the album.
I planned the first and last recipes in each section to be from one of the people in the photo it faced.
