Thanks, everyone, for your nice comments. My daughter asked my grandson (7 years old)how he thought I had "interlocked" the 5 rings. His answer was, "Magic!" Love those grandkids who think their Grandma/Nana can perform magic!

Carrying The Torch

The Olympic torch made its way through Grand Junction, CO on its last leg to Salt Lake City for the 2002 Winter Games. This is the intro-page to a section I dedicate to this event which my family & I we were fortunate to attend. I cut my own patterns and paper-pieced them to create the torches, the SLC Olympic logo, and the 5 inter-locking Olympic rings.
