Oh, this is fabulous....airplanes and all! The expression on Adam's face is priceless. I hope he got his turn to hold the....ewwwwww....snake's head. (Sends shivers down my spine just thinking of it!) I love the design of this page, Betty, and how you turned a single photo into an EVENT. That is a great talent! A fave for me.
This one turned out wayy cute!!! Perfect pp's...even if it does have airplanes on it LOL! I love the design and your journaling is too funny! Poor Adam hehe! Another to my faves!
oh well I think Adam was wise holding the tail....give me any animal,,,,but not a snake....luved reading the story behind the foto and a cute lil presentation
mmm, I don't like much to touch snakes either, I completely understand that look of his...and I am an animal lover too. At least he was brave enough to do it. Love the journaling and that snake up the top!!
Oh, how great this looks!!! Love the colors, and the little snake on top, along with the snake like border - nice picture too!!! I would have never thought airplanes as they look like green blobs to me too!!!! :>)
I can sympathise with Adam-I'm a real animal lover, but wouldn't go out of my way to touch a snake!!I like the colours and pps you used-that wide strip reminds me of a funky-coloured snakeskin!great design and stitching...as for the airplanes, they look like green blobs to me too!!LOL
Journaling reads: "Adam has always loved animals. Anytime there was an opportunity to hold or pet an animal, Adam was right there. Here he is on a field trip with his Kindergarten class. They were at Dauset Trails, a nature refuge for animals that have been hurt or abandoned. Some of the animals, when able, are rehabilitated and released back into the wild. While touring the reptile house, the kids were given a chance to hold a rock python. Adam should have been thrilled, but the look on his face says it all. Of course, he got stuck holding the tail... GO FIGURE." 1993 --- he would have much preferred to be holding the head!
So, about the time I was just gluing the last bits onto this page, Sarah says: "You do know that your background paper has airplanes on it, don't you?" Is that what those were... oops... I thought they were just random green blobs... went really well with the BG pps I was using!! LOL!!! Oh well........
The layout design is from the PageMaps2 sketch book. I did some hand stitching and lots of white doodles on here. The little snake at the top is from an old Jungle Book sticker. Thanks so much for looking!
