my parents lived in a displaced persons camp in Germany too, before sailing into Australia! beautiful LO, love his journaling that you have added. a BIG fave for me!

That was my FIL's wish on the journaling that he wrote on 9-12-1950 while he and his family sailed into the harbor and saw the Statue of Liberty from their journey from Paderborn, Germany and the Displaced Person's Camp they were forced to reside in for years. The pic is from the 1970's which I printed on mat presentation paper then adhered to chipboard and pop-dotted to Webster's Pages. Journaling was from his diary and the picture from the 1970's. All flowers, beads, leaves are from Goodwill. Key is K&co, colorbox chalks, Black 3D frame from Amazon.com. Antique crocheted lace is also from Goodwill.
