I tied copper-colored twine to the ski-tag, which has the date of my adventure.

Journaling reads:
My third time to hit the slopes involved a long drive on snowy mountain roads, past Breckenridge. We loaded up Andy Rohrback’s little SUV with all our gear and ourselves, Andy, Kristina, Kristin Marsh and Scott Rappold. The forecast was for a day of snow showers, and it did snow all day, but we were ready. I was warm with my layered clothes, ski-goggles, hat and plenty of gloves. Copper Mountain Resort is LARGE, but the green trails were great. For one run we rode up two lifts (Kokomo and Lumberjack), it was a long and cold ride, but worth it. I truly enjoy skiing, despite the hard work of trying to walk in ski boots, while lugging skis and poles. The sensation of sliding down the mountainside, flying on the snow, is indescribable. And being so high, seeing the snow-frosted trees and mountains, breathing in air so cold it feels brilliantly clean, is a treat.
