Art In Motion – June 2004
We are all Artists gently guided by our Masters hand painting a vision called life. The blending of colors like joy, sorrow, wisdom and love. Magnificent masterpiece of self.

My Technique:
This was one of my most time consuming layouts, but was very rewarding to complete my little “masterpiece”. A common trait in my scrapbook layouts is dimension, I love texture and variety. This poem moved me and fit the photos so perfectly. The effort was so worthwhile. I hand placed each letter and just let the design come out; I used some of my sewing skills to get the look. I call it “working the page” - I just keep going until it all comes together. This is one of the rare layouts where I did not use patterned paper; I think additional pattern would have taken away from the drama of the poem. As you can see in the photos, I am raising a group of little artists, yeah – can’t wait to see what beautiful art they make as they grow. ~Dionne
