Piazza San Marco - I have a picture of my mother there, back in the late 1950's. Even though I got to live in Italy for 10 years and went back in 2001, I still have yet to go to Venice. I will just have to go back and do the Kodak Moment there at the Square, like my mom did! And WOW!!! This 2 pager turned out fantastic!!!Tthe color you chose is perfect!!! Love the borders and how perfectly everything matches up!!!! Way to go!!!
Oh, my, What a lovely two pager!!!! The contrast between the rosey background and the black is so attractive. I love the lamp post, hot air balloons, the punch work with the pearls, and all the other embellies..
and your photos are outstanding!!! Glad you got up early that day for I can really see what the Square looks like without all the people. It is far more serene looking this way!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
It was worth the loss of sleep.....STUNNING photos!! And this 2-pager is GORGEOUS! Love how you mirrored the sunrise colours with the bg pps!! Every detail is sooo beautiful, Vija...all the chippie elements and the cutwork....that black daisy fan punch with pearls....FABULOUS! straight to FAVES!!

One very incredible well designed double page....such gorgeous fotos there....must have been a great place to visit....the lace look page runner, and the border puch looks so elegant...and luv your balloons and street lamp.......fav for me
oh wow, a double and how fantasic it is too...perfect colours, love the punchwork and those balloons. Even the lamp post is so similar to the ones in the pic!! Great job!!
I have been loving your vacation pages! This one is no exception! Your photos are so beautiful!!!! I love how you scrapped this - all of the details and colors are PERFECT! The chipboard lamppost is stunning!
Thought I'd try doing a double layout. I enjoyed having the extra space to work with, just didn't know how to work in any PP's! The small amount I did use is BG Cappella. On the cardstock I used different inks to try and give it a bit more interest. Most of the flowers are Prima, the chipboard lamp post & hot air balloons are by Scrapmatts, pearl brads and other bling are by Kaisercraft. Normally St. Mark's Square is very crowded. If you are wondering where everyone is, they are probably still in bed! We got up about 6am to try and get some photos without all the crowds and also to visit the fish markets as they were setting up for the day. It was an absolutely beautiful morning!! TFL.
