Journaling:
Don’t give me that pout little girl! I invented it! I know it sounds crazy but I had a twinge of ‘motherly pride’ when I saw you pucker out that bottom lip like that. It used to be my trademark seriously. I’m the queen of the ‘frown to get my way’ move. I can still hear my family teasing me. And then my Daddy would say in a funny gruff voice, “Go away bad mood, go away”. Oh those were the good old days and it seems to me like life is coming full circle when your own little girl juts out her bottom lip in protest of what’s not going her way.
Techniques:
I chalked the torn paper, sanded all the edges, adn inked the cardstock and HS photocorners. The stamps are done in two different colors and the ribbon photo corners I made myself. I painted the chipboard letters and attached the flowers with embroidery floss french knots. I like the paper for this layout because it has that moody blue feel but I think the flowers keep it girly and feminine.
