(For the life of me, I CANNOT figure out why the vertical strips look crooked in this photo - they are not crooked in real life!)
Another LO of guess who?...Bernie! This LO is for my own album, which I've neglected a little recently. I've been busy making Bernie LOs for Justin's album I make and maintain for him.
I tried to push myself to avoid my usual grungy, funky products - no inks, distressing, paints, etc. here. I somewhat did a scrap lift of a LO I saw featured in the current Scrapbooks, Etc. magazine. (I don't remember what page it is on?)
Journaling reads:
"After nearly a year and a half of considering adoption a dog, and after settling on the Greyhound breed, and after a three-month adoption process, everything has come down to Bernie! We chose Bernie after meeting four available Greyhounds up for adoption through GPA-WI on September 18, 2010. After a two-week stay in a foster home to get acclimated to home life, Bernie finally came home to us on October 2, 2010! He loved testing out his new backyard with some play and exercise on his first day. Also, he adjusted just fine with our kitty, Kay. (And - surprisingly - vise versa!) We quickly found out that Bernie really likes walks, peanut butter, hot dogs, and ear rubs! So much mystery, and many 'what ifs' were involved in our dog talks for so long. But now, everything is so much more clear: Bernie is now our new best friend! We're so happy he's home, and look forward to many, many fun-filled years together!"
