these are incredibly beautiful! I shall have to remember the tip about the fabric softener. I love the pumpkin coach for the date! You did a wonderful job on personalizing this invitations.
WOW! You put a lot of work into creating these! How original to marry on the 31st and have a costume reception. Let me guess, your daughter is going as a ........BRIDE? Sounds like a lot of fun!!!!
The invitation is three layers of card stock, lavender, black, lavender. We used the Martha Stewart punches. The witches on the reception card are punched from black and glued on. The bats are punched from glittered cardstock and put on with a 3-d pad. The date is a stamp, filled in with metallic silver. We sent over 100 so you can see why it took a while. On tip, we glued a piece of fabric softener sheet between two of the layers for a scented invitation. This is a half sheet and since we kept from having a "bump" it only cost the 44 cents to mail -no additional postage for size or bulk.
