How did I miss this one?! I have been MIA from SBC for several weeks....no excuse!! LOVE how you framed the photo. I don't know anyone else with the bounty of photos you have of your family. Good for you! The title is particularly stunning. Glad the tree came in handy....cool finish. The two-tone ribbon is handsome! xoxoxo
Patty - this lo is so great. I love how you used a Heritage photo and incorporated it into a beautiful Halloween lo. This idea is fabulous. I love the photo. You did a perfect job on this lo!!!
So cute and funny Patty! Loving the picture and the fun title you've matched with it. So many goodies on here, so interesting to look at! What a fabulous bow with the bottle cap as the center!!
Great job..love the design and the colors and all the cool techniques you used. So your great grandparents produced their own baseball team.Love the photo!
great photo -- love the techniques used. If that little cap is metal it can go in the regular challenge. I'll put you in sharing unless I hear otherwise.
This is a totally cool work of art, Patty! I love the bottle cap with the clock gears - how clever!!!!! Woo-Hoo!! And what a wonderful vintage photo - what a treasure!

Geez, Patty, I am totally GREEN with envy over your incredible collection of family heritage photos!! WOW! And the way you designed this page for this pic is just WONDERFUL! Love the Halloween theme....very cool masking...and that altered tree is FANTASTIC! And the bottlecap with the bow is FAB!! Lovin' the angled elements! This lo is HOWLING into my FAVES!!
This is very cool! And creative! What a great photo! I bet that's truly a treasure! I love all the different techniques you included in this lo! Fantastic job! :)
The October Steampunk Challenge inspired me to do this LO. The techniques I used were masking and metal embossing. I also found a bottle cap and put some tiny clock gears inside it, then added clear glue to keep them in place. The little tree was given to me by Micupoftea (Shawn), and I crackle painted it and inked it in black. The lazercut vertical strip is one I found at a local SB convention (sorry, can't remember the maker)
The little boys in the picture are my maternal grandfather (far right) and his brothers. My grandfather's twin is on the far left. This portrait was taken around 1898 or so. Altogether, my great grandmother had NINE BOYS!!! Gee, that exhausts me just THINKING about it!
Thanks for taking a peek, everyone.....I appreciate ya!!!......Patty
