hmmmmm....I'm guessing you like wine?!?!? ha ha! Wonderful page, Jeannie! Loved reading about this special tradition for you and your dd. Soooo cool how you cut out and popped up (get it...POPPED up) the Kettle corn pic!! hee hee!
What a neat thing to share with your daughter each year. This looks like an amazing festival. I like that you showcased the things that are not usually found at these kind of festivals. Great job on the kettle corn it is the perfect embellishment. Love this one , great colors!
Awesome photos (although the scorpion makes me squirm lol). I love the old Ford , and I love how you cut out the bag of kettlekorn. From the picture of your layout, it looks like you actually put a small bag of kettlekorn on your layout!
I loveee the fall pp-thats gorgeous!! The kettle corn is sooo cute-great touch! The scorpian scares me-that thing is HUGE! Brrrr....give me chills just lookin at it lol
oh great lil creation luv your fotos esp the one of you and your d/d...sounds like a very interesting festival....dont know about the scorpians though...great paper combo
Wow ...sounds like so much fun!! Love your layout and the photo's are fabulous...beautiful one of you and your dd!! I am glad she has her priorities right with the wine glasses!! Great idea to use another photo to cut elements from!
That orange Ford does look sweet! Why do I get the impression "It's all about the WINE"? LOL. Well, you did say you walked not drove to the festival, so that's a good thing!
My older dd and I have walked down to the Fall Festival the last couple years. She wants to get the complimentary wine glasses and so of course that involves drinking some wine. And we always get the largest bag of kettlekorn. There's art, food, interesting sights. (iguanas and scorpions??) entertainment, food, a car show (LOVED that vibrant pearly orange old ford), lots of friends around and about and more food...and wine. A whole block of the main street is closed to traffic for that weekend. I used basic grey ambrosia and eerie and Thickers alphas and zva pearls that I colored brown with my copics. I cut out the big gold butterfly from the ambrosia pp. For the little ones I placed my MS butterfly punch over the butterfly images in the Ambrosia pp and punched. Then I misted them with smooch spritz. I cut the bag of kettlekorn out of another photo and pop dotted it to the same photo of Vicki holding the kettlekorn. This is entered in October Use Your Supplies challenge week 4 and the Scrap your Faves. I lifted Kelly Goree's O'Night layout ...LOVE her work. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/95083/view/2433591/-1.html
