I was in Palm Beach, Florida on a retreat with some amazing ladies I met on this site.. We had so much fun! This is a tree that was growing next to our hotel and we decided to play in it for a bit! the tiny girl standing in front of the big tree in the photo is my friend Betty (Betty1). The tree is a Banyan Tree and the journalling reads:
In Hinduism, the leaf of the Banyan Tree is said to be the resting place for the God Krishna, who, after consuming all the universe during the time of destruction, absorbs everything created and turns himself to a child as small as he could fit into the tiny leaf of the Banyan Tree and keeps floating in the void space, until he himself decides to recreate everything back out from him...

the flourishes were treated using a technique I got from my Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities, except I used Crackle Accents instead of Clear Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint. I love how it makes it look rusty, but shiny too.
