Unfortunately it doesn’t show well at all on the scan, but each individual square on the background paper was given a coat of Glossy Accents to create a shiny “ceramic tile” effect. The focal photo was cut into 4 equal squares and mounted to flip open to reveal 4 additional photos and the journaling. The frame for the photo was created using blue textured cardstock and rub-on words & phrases which represent the feeling of the photo. Large photo corners were painted with buttercup scrapbook paint to match the background paper, then mounted to the corners of the frame. Gold square brads finished the frame.
Journaling reads:
I love these photos Dad took of the boys and I one night before bed. I love how "natural" they are - silly grins, joy and happiness just seem to radiate from each one. About the only time these days when Mama can get a truly good cuddle with her big guy Joe is bed time. He's much more willing at night to give hugs to mom. Tom is a love bug 24-7 - he'll snuggle roudn the clock if you want him too. I'm sure some day soon that will change and he'll be harder to catch for a snuggle like his big brother. For now I savor these silly, fun, snuggly, cuddly moments with my little guys.
