Last Words - A

This is the last conversation I had with my mother before she passed away.

Journaling reads:
Me: “Are you scared?”
Mommy: “Yes, I am a little bit.”
Me: “Are you ready?”
Mommy: (with a small chuckle), “As ready
as I’m gonna get!”
Me: (now crying), “I’m going to miss
you so much.”
Mommy: (crying too), “Oh Honey, I love
you so much!”
Me: (holding her tight), “I love you too.”
We hug and cry together. Twenty-four
hours later, Mommy was gone.
And, I do indeed miss her so much.
