10-27-10...A couple of DECORATIVE plates that were made in the 1930's...they are considered "art deco" and are collectibles. Both were made in England...the one on the left was made by H & K Tunstall, a cottage/country scene and is titled "Homestead", I believe it is a cake plate. The other one, made by Myott, is a water scene of a sailboat and seagulls. "Vandyke" is stamped on the back, I believe this plate is part of sandwich serving set. These are the only pieces I have from the sets but I always keep an eye open at yard/rummage sales for more. [DSCF1190]
