These photos are from a stop in Baker California at the Alien Jerky store. The journaling reads: Driving from Las Vegas on our way to San Clemente, we kept seeing road signs and billboards advertising "Alien Jerky", our curiosity got the best of us and we decided on a pit stop in Baker, California. The little shop featured just about any kind of jerky you could think of, including snake, buffalo and alligator and in a variety of flavors. They also had scores of hot sauces as well as soft drinks and snacks. It was a fun diversion from the long drive.
