The Colors of my 1st Art Project

I created this layout for the CKC Scrapworks contest.... alas, I did not win. I think it's too busy. But when I saw the new spring paper, I had to use it! This bird was beconing for some color, and a branch to stand on. TFL!

Because it was so busy it didn't scan as well as it could, and the pic of the two of us isn't quite as blue in real life.....

The hidden journaling reads:
I have been waiting patiently for the minute you turned 2 so taht I could sign you up for art class. It seems like there is nothing in our area for children under 3, so when I saw that the Art Station was offering classes for children age 2 and up, I immediately saved the ad for part of my birthday present for you. We have been having so much fun! It is fun to see you create and learn about paint, and brushes, your hands, scissors, and colors, and it is even more fun to see the excitement you have each week when we go to "art class". I love that we have this activity to do together. I love spending time with you. And, of course, I love this first project we created together so much that I am framing it. I look forward to our future projects..... Love, Mommy (3/06)
