"It all started with a very special hat from Hollywood"...reads the small journalling spot. Honestly, I did NOT plan for Mila to be the Mad Hatter for Halloween to match my lo! ha ha! She did buy the hat after we saw the movie "Alice in Wonderland" in Hollywood shortly after it was released last Spring Break. This month, we bought the wig from Wal-Mart and the jacket/costume from a local Halloween shop...and it all came together with the right make up! She was thrilled, and I was thrilled to put these photos onto a lo I designed for a class at my lss. Had tons of fun playing with these G45 pps. The chipboard clock is inked, painted, and Rock Candy Distressed (BTW, the smooched clock hands point to the date 10-10-31). More MS clear microbeads outlining the Alice and Mad Hatter images, plus touches of Rock Candy Stickles. I used stencils and Peeled Paint Distress ink to make the tree leaves top left and pumpkin patch leaves on the bottom right page. The vines at the bottom of the left page were cut with a Sizzix die and inked green. All red flowers were handmade...the large one at bottom left has black vintage glass glitter and the ones on the right by Alice are accented with copper microbeads. I'm probably most excited about the door, made with wood veneer pp and a scroll design double-sided adhesive with black glitter. Thanks so much for looking! You know how much I appreciate it, but lately have been too busy to respond as promptly as I'd like. :)
