The center is raised. I used the Cricut carts Storybook and Thanksgiving, embossing, ribbons, Inkadinkado black stamp pad, Inkadinkado embossing powder, TPC Studio Autumn Harvest clear stamps. The center is a deep rust red - not pink which shows in the picture
