Very lovely page! It helps me to know that others struggle with a page and finally have to let it go because nothing seems to finish it the way you would like...I have that happen often.
I know how it is to love the photo but feel "bleh" about the layout. I love these photos! I also love the frames you used and the background paper. Overall this is a great page- the inclusion of a local paper is a great touch. Maybe you'll feel a little different when you look at it again a few weeks later.
This is AMAZING, Lizzy!!! I love the "Optical Illusion" pic and your details are wonderful! I don't know why you're not happy with it...I think it turned out great!!!
wow-I have no idea why you wouldn't like this awesome page-love the exotic feel to it with the asian lettering and those square buttons. The photos are terrific too! I think we're always more critical of our own work;other people are more objective and see the big picture.
What a remarable and totally impressive photo that is on the left, Lizzy! Such an out-this-world effect; love it! Fabulous creation! Cannot understand why you dislike it, girl!
Beautiful Lizzy!!!! ... I love what you did with the Chinese paper and I really love the optical illusion!!!!!, also like that window ... What's not to like on this LO ... You did a Great Job!!!!!!!!
Very cool photo!! This is a wonderful layout - please don't dislike it!! The pps & details are perfect for your great photos! That must have been an awesome trip!
Very very cool photo...nose to nose with the Buddha! I have to say that your other lo's from your Asian trip really thrilled me...and I'm sooo glad you posted another one! I can't get enough of them, and do feel like I'm learning about another culture when I look at your pages ;) Love the neutral palette...and that frame around the two of you is LOVELY! Is that Chinese text pp in the bg??? FANTASTIC!!
I really like it! I love the Japanese/Chinese-looking newsprint behind the photos, the delicate little butterflies, and the little cluster in the upper left.
These photos are from our trip to Asia (February 2010) with my DD Valentina. This is Cambodia. The photo on the left is an optical illusion. Valentina was far away from that Buddha and the tour guide told her how to pose to get this effect. On the right we are sitting real close to it. I have to say that I struggled for 3 days making this LO and I don't like it at all but I posted it anyway because I don't think I'll make it again. TFL!
