i think this turned out brilliantly. i love those maya roads envelopes and actually wrote a note to myself in there. i've been feeling sort of stifled and uncreative and generally blue lately, and then i saw that fabulous little tim holtz stamp that says "its not who you are that holds you back but who you think you are not". that little photo of me i've always loved. my husband snapped it inside the elevator at LACMA a couple years ago.
basic grey's periphery is one of my favorite all-time lines which is why i still have som much of it left, i can never bear to use it! this paper didn't need a lot, but i added the embossing at the top and the chipboard board and branch, then just the little cluster of fabric, leaves, a chipboard flower and the the tim holtz hope ticket. there is also an anna griffin transparency, the flowers and brown branches.
