Admit it: we all do it: we drive ourselves crazy looking for paper and embellishments and when we finally find them, we hoard them. Anyway, on the Swirlydoos boards, Rae has challenged all of us to unlock our vaults and take out and use five items that we’ve been hoarding. I received a beautiful RAK from Mandy (CraftySprinkles) several eons ago with a note saying that she couldn’t wait to see how I used it. I kept on putting it off, thinking that if I were to actually do that, I’d no longer have it.
I bought the birdhouse at a chain craft store and covered it with Glimmer Mist. The paper is from last April’s Swirlydoos Park Avenue kit. The nest, gems, fence, and beautiful pearl leaves and flowers are part of Mandy’s RAK. I colored the gems and pearls with alcohol ink and painted and misted the fence. The rosebuds are from my stash.
