Okay, here is my layout!
I made a layout about Geocaching!! The paper really lent itself to it. Especially the bug paper :)

Other papers I used: K&Co. & DCWV & Recollections
I also used up a few miscellaneous embellishments, including the two quotes that went very well with the geocaching theme!
I used the Threading Water punch by Fiskars and a ticket punch that I got from Stampin' Up.

Journalling - Left Page:
November 2009
We set out for a day of geocaching with Nic & Jen.
The day's hunt took us along the Santa Ana River Trail.
(side caption to the left) The River View Golf Course runs along the trail. It was a nice view indeed.
We were on a search for some interesting titled caches: "Long Tinnie", "Nepal", and "A Kiwi Connection" were just a few.
The day was very successful we had 5 of 5 finds!
(Bottom caption) We found some unique caches!
(Quote on bottom left) Arriving at one goal is the starting point of another. - John Dewey

Journalling - Right Page:
(Quote at top) Don't be discouraged, it's often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock. - Unknown
(Assorted captions)
Nic released her trackable St. Patrick tag out to the world.
We always have such a good time playing hide & seek!
Gotta love modern day treasure hunts!

The most creative cache of the day was "Where's the Raid?" which led us to this wonderfully fabricated tube that looks like a giant bug. It was literally just hanging out on the side of the tree!

To the left of the page is four blocks that make up the geocaching logo. I cut each out and placed them next to each other slightly tilting the yellow one for fun. I made the "geocaching" strip and below the blocks I used the "I Love You' strip that came as my embellishment!

Created for the November Ugly Paper Challenge.
