Me, my brother and maternal grandparents, 1961.
don't know why, but this simple lo took my a week to finish. I think I was really concentrating on the journaling. Stamped the title, stamped and fussy cut the flowers and tag at the top. All soooo simple. TFL - I appreciate you looking and love to read your comments.
"No two people could have loved or been loved more than the two of you. I remember Papa's big hands gently tickling me. He used to pick me up so I could ride on his big shoulders. I remember he took Kirk with him when he walked in the evening. I remember the smell of his pipe. I remember Noni trying to teach me Italian (she paid me a nickel every time I got a word right). Because of her, I love anything marinated (not too many 3 yr olds like marinated artichoke hearts). They taught us that there is nothing more important than the love of family and that there's always room for one more at Sunday dinner."
