My relationship with my only child, a daughter is very special. At times I see things in her that remind me of myself. I took our comparable pictures of a variety of ages and put them beside each other. The difference is she was born a blonde whereas I was brown.
The top picture was both our wedding days. Almost 40 years apart. For me it was also the day I immigrated to Canada from Holland.
Finally a picture of us taken about 1 month ago. I believe this picture shows the respect and love we have for each other.
I put a jewel on every one of her pictures as she is my jewel. I used grey colored paper to represent the past years for me and the pink to represent the later years and "now time" of, and with, my daughter. I kept the pages simple as the relationship is what I wanted to shine through.
