Journaling reads: "This is Adam with "George" the gorilla. George was 'adopted' by Adam on one of our trips to Helen, Georgia. I don't remember exactly when George joined the family, probably when Adam was about ten years old. George slept with Adam at night and spent the days resting on Adam's bed until Adam left home. George is still around, lovingly packed away and patiently waiting for a new playmate..." This photo was taken in September 2000. Adam was 14 at that time.

The "Georges" and "Jungle" are all handcut. "of the" is stenciled onto squares. The music notes are punched. The layout is based on a sketch from the Reflections book by Close To My Heart. Thanks so much for looking!!!
