11-23-10...10:06p...The full moon was on the 21st...unfortunately, the sky wasn't clear enough for a photo but this shot will work for my on-going moon series even tho it isn't completely full. [DSCF2766]
November is the month of the Full "Beaver" Moon...when traps were set before the waterways froze in order to have a good supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Beaver Full Moon come from the fact that the beavers are now active in their preparation for winter. Also called the Frosty Moon.
