This was a FUN layout. I love how all the bits & pieces came together. Inspiration came from a morning of "clues" (you know, crayons all over, crumbs on the table, etc.)left by my darling children. I felt like I was playing " journey to Ernie" from that favorite PBS show! So, together with pictures from a recent trip to the Sesame Street exhibit at the Children's Museum, I came up with this. There are 9 different interactive elements on this page. The folder "Sherlock Mom and the case of.." opens up to reveal "Journey to the Schmidt Kids" The paper clip board give the details of the case, second page tells "How we got to Sesame Street" Exhibit 1 shows my crazy kids, the back holds a handwritten note from my daughter telling me it's time to find the clues and find them.Exhibit 2,3,&4, show clues from afournd the house and links them with characteristics of each of my kids and a S.S. Character. The three remaining tags are pictures from the musuem and journaling about out day there. The tag fibers represent the fur and feathers from various S.S. characters. I even added a clip of my son's hair on the tag where he is dressed up as Big Bird!
