The photos of your parents are just so amazing. I adore the contrast between the early photo and the later one. The photos alone tell a silent story. I just feel so much courage from these layouts. You really hit the essence of what it is to lose someone you love.

How wonderful that you have captured them in their younger years as well as in their older years. 50 years of marriage is astonishing! What beautiful people your parents were. You have created a nice tribute for everyone in your family to enjoy. And yes, you are so right about pets to. They grieve as well. Well done... so well done!
These pages are about my mother, who passed away from ALS last September. It shows how, although she may be gone physically, she lives on in the hearts and minds of her grandchildren and even her beloved pets. The flourish is handcut out of BG pp, and is attached with a hardware store hinge. There is hidden journalling on the flap once opened, which reads: This picture shows a love that will have lasted 50 years. 50 years of joy, sadness, heartache and ultimately the coming together of two souls destined to be one. My parents went through many difficult times together, but as I sit and write this, I realize that it possibly could be because they were meant to have rough times to make them strong enough to handle whatever came their way. Those times made them realize that in the end, nothing could tear them apart. Journalling on page top is part of the saying " All the love you created is still there, all the memories are still there. YOU LIVE ON - in the hearts of everyone you have touched while you were here. Death ends a life, not a relationship. Morrie Shwartz - Tuesday's with Morrie"
